Static Producer is a Seattle melodic-rock band. The band consists of hard driving drumming, Euphonically alluring bass, symphonic guitar and haunting vocals. Jay Lux formed the band in early 2010 and they have been touring ever since. Jay writes and arranges all of the music, which ranges from bluesy rock to modern alternative.
Jay Lux began his musical career in a middle class neighborhood of Minneapolis. During his youth, he sang in the choir and played in the school band. He spent most of his teenage and early adult years playing bass in such bands as Punchinello Tea, Mannyís Groove, and The Crutch People. After barnstorming through the Midwest for several years, Jay decided that he needed a break. He spent the next few years studying poetry, photography and producing several short films. During these years he resettled in Seattle and began to rediscover music. Jay is now producing and performing music again under his own name and Static Producer.
